SO, what I decided on was to do a little eclectic gallery wall! I did some “shopping” in our shop the other day, and went through and collected some old photos and artwork I had. I laid it all out on the floor and started to arrange it how I wanted it on the wall!
I held up the art one by one, marked, and spaced the art so that all you could really see at this stage was the nails poking out of the wall! Purposefully making sure the art would cover all the old nail holes, scratches - that the previous owners left as a gift for us... (insert eye roll)
If I was worried about the spacing etc, I would set the piece that's going above it, or below it, or next to it. Ya know what I mean! And theeeen, add the nail. It looked like this:
Something I've noticed about living in a manufactured home is the thin walls. We've had to be super mindful about hanging shelving, art, etc because the walls are just not built the same. So we've had to get crafty. Luckily, this project was pretty simple and didn't require any screws to hold up the art.
Here's the finished product! My little mini gallery wall turned out so great! I am so happy with the end result and I think it adds so much character to the space! Much MUCH better than the before picture, am I right?
I think it would be really fun to switch out some of the décor and pictured, depending on the season / time of year! Can't wait! What do you think? Leave me a comment below!
