Living in an manufactured home won’t stop us from making some appliance upgrades around here!
that might sound silly, but you do have to consider
that might sound silly, but you do have to consider
how weight of things comes into play when installing new things in a manufactured home. Essentially your home is sitting up on block posts off the ground. BUT! That should never deter you from enjoying the finer things in life + in your home!
I’m laughing to myself writing this blog post (especially about enjoying the finer things in life) because today I’m talkin’ potty talk. We are talking about toilets.
Our old toilet was...F-U-G-L-Y And well work in by the previous owners (ew) and..well, yeah... And so when we decided to redo the floors in our master (which I havent even shown you the finished product yet!) it was the perfect excuse to do a little latrine update too! We legit had a hole in the floor that we had to cover...for over a month (see it in all its glory below) and thank goodness for having a guest bathroom!
So here’s a little progression of our new toilet install situation — and also a little sneak peek of the floors too!
now to just add in that new trim at the base...excuse us, is that old floral wallpaper is showing? Ha!
SIDE NOTE - We went with a Glacier Bay dual function toilet! We got it at Home Depot! Here’s the exact one HERE.
We chose a dual button flush toilet, because living on well water and septic, we thought it would be nice to be mindful of the amount of well water we could save with our 2 options for flushes.
